I always think about, whether or not they got it right, the Atlanta ballpark. Their stated goal was to get closer to the people who buy tickets. They botched the execuition, but they did get closer to their ticket buyers.
For all of the things you can say about Soldiers, it's greatest flaw is it's so hard to get to. When that road-block exists, and when the team sucks, it's hard to get people motivated to come because not only is the product on the field gonna suck, but then I'm gonna be angry sitting in 3 hours of traffic or however else people get to the stadium.
That will demonstrably not get better in Gary or Hammond, or wherever they decide to put this. You're going 30 miles minimum further away for your customers, which even if it's easier than Soldier's to get to, it's still not nearly as easy as it is to get to AH.
