Some reason, the organization I work with decided we should go under mandatory masking due to the elevation in Influenza A and B in the area.
I think this is a bit premature and excessive as all in my office (100%) received the flu vaccine and no documented symptoms from anyone.
Maybe we should consider making any patient with symptoms to mask upon entering? Or better yet, instruct to test at home with a home kit.
