H3N2 was included, but not its red-headed stepchild.
So the vaccine is of some value. Or not.
New York had 71,000 confirmed cases in the week prior to Christmas travel. Lots of people will get seriously ill.
Those of us born before 1968 might be more likely to have greater immunity because of the H3N2 pandemic that year.
