i think it's worse than january because you add the false hope of being "close to spring"

but it still sucks ass for weather.
january is also superior for sports. bowl games & CFP, NFL playoffs.
february has the super bowl and late season doldrums of college hoops (which january also has) and nothing else.
at least it's only 28 days.
