Give Illinois credit, they battled #2 in the country. Forget when it was exactly, but there was a chance for the game to get out of hand, but Illinois rallied, and as larue wrote, had a chance to get the game down to 2 possessions late.
Illinois seems to have the making of a good young core. Should be fun to watch going forward.
Lauren Betts is a beast. The only thing that slowed her down was foul trouble in the first half and some poor shooting on layups. Illinois didn't really have an answer. Her little sister looks to be a player as well.

Had a 3 point attempt to cut the lead to 4 pretty late in the game, but missed. Gave up a 4 point possession in the final minute to stretch the final margin.
26 points for Parchment, solid games from Jackson and Webber. UCLA gave Wallace no room at all and were pretty physical with her. Lauren Betts was just too much on both ends of the floor. At one point we had 11 offensive rebounds but only 3 points off of them.
