Obviously the dram scenario would have been getting him back. But if he had stayed in the 15-30 range where there was legitimate hope of maybe getting him back, your offseason gets really tough when not knowing if you the NIL and roster spot for another star player or not.
So it’s much better for us that we can now know with certainty that he’s gone and can already start working on his eventual replacement if it’s an overseas guy.
