Internationally, we are done. Every other head of state is now painfully aware that we're no more than four years from this happening again. Even assuming Trump is somehow uniquely evil, stupid, or some combination thereof, the fact that we elected him (twice!) proves we can't be trusted. There's no longer any delusion about what we really represent, which is refreshing in a way, but has some downsides, to put it mildly.
