I get it if you're a speed skater or a biathlete, this is the absolute pinnacle of your sport, it's the payoff of all your life's work, and this is going to be your 15 minutes of fame before going back to finish your degree and get into project management or medical sales....but an NHL player?
I'm guessing 98.9% of the rosters of either team would take a Stanley Cup win any day, over a Gold Medal in a glorified All Star tourney (where all but 2 teams are mostly comprised of players that will never see a minute of NHL ice time).
