I would say I kinda feel sorry for the guys...going to the White House is supposed to be really dignified, and I'm sure it was less dignified due to the person that currently occupies it. That being said, the hockey guys probably enjoyed it as much as the Bama team did back in 2018 when Trump stuffed them full of McDonald's.

To me it's different doing this, as opposed to signing up and speaking at a Turning Point USA thing like Matt Shaw did. Fuck that guy. Hope he breaks every bone and never gets a hit again.

And mythologizing the Canadians is insane. Most of them are equally probably nationalist conservatives whether they agree/despise with 51st state talk or not. Most young Canadian men voted conservative and these are young mostly white Canadian men with money. The locker room overlaps far more than it disagrees despite national differences.
