So it would be an easy change to make.  Previous Message  Previous Message The current system of specifying you want something “thin sliced” or whatever, then trying to judge the relative thickness of a piece of meat being waved 4 feet away is ridiculously imprecise and dependent on the subjective opinions of specific employees. There’s no reason not just have a 1-10 scale so that every time I go to the deli I can always get things sliced at the exact thickness that I prefer.
