Newer cars also have spray units attached to the wiper arms and/or blades and require professional
replacement. My wife’s Volvo and my car both do. So I let the pros handle them. I replaced the wipers on mini’s GTI this fall and had to deal with all of the issues discussed below. My choice for most frustrating was the size of the inscrutable diagrams.  Previous Message
Two of the last three times I’ve broken the cheap plastic mounts and had to get another blade. And I can never figure out how to get the old ones off—I usually end up having to just break apart the brackets instead of finding the correct way to release the catch. It doesn’t help that there are like 37 different kinds of mounts and adapters.
May just always to go to AutoZone from now on and let them do it.
