My favorite was the time the dude with one arm replaced them for me. I didn’t even have to ask! Previous Message Two of the last three times I’ve broken the cheap plastic mounts and had to get another blade. And I can never figure out how to get the old ones off—I usually end up having to just break apart the brackets instead of finding the correct way to release the catch. It doesn’t help that there are like 37 different kinds of mounts and adapters. May just always to go to AutoZone from now on and let them do it.

i always just had it done at some point during an oil change i've been doing it since then but i always have to watch a youtube video to remind me what i need to do Previous Message Two of the last three times I’ve broken the cheap plastic mounts and had to get another blade. Newer cars also have spray units attached to the wiper arms and/or blades and require professional

replacement. My wife’s Volvo and my car both do. So I let the pros handle them. I replaced the wipers on mini’s GTI this fall and had to deal with all of the issues discussed below.
