His late night TV appearances might charitably be described as "frenetic" or "spasmodic" if you'd rather not describe them as "unfocused" or "veering." Kind of like trying to follow a Dennis Miller stream of consciousness. I probably watched a handful of Mork episodes, because you just didn't have many options in the 70s. I don't feel nostalgic for it.
