Canada is a possibility, but even though we both work remotely, I can't find a way for us to be eligible to move there. The only viable options are England/work (too far away for her), Germany/grandparent-citizenship (too far away for her), and Portugal/digital-nomad (too far away for her). So I'm stuck here. Canada is the only place close enough she'd consider, but... they're smart enough to make it difficult.
