the best exercise program is something you will do
that said, resistance bands and kettlebells don't take up much space. get a yoga mat to do some type of planks/sit ups, etc. you can get a slam ball (medicine ball but you can throw it on the ground without it busting and more important it's much smaller taking up less space. you can use for throwing or just like a normal medicine ball.) if you do some of those exercises and the pushups i think you are fine. pull up bar would be great if you're into that. if you do cardio m-w-fr you can do the resistance exercises Tu-Th Previous Message And drink like I have for the last 30 years is not good for my continued health, I’ve buckled down on portions, ramped up cardio exercise and as a result, have lost a good amount of weight while improving things like cholesterol, BP, etc. The missing piece for me is some kind of strength training. To be clear, I’m not looking to bulk up at all but want to maintain strength as I age. Realistically, I don’t have time or commitment to join a gym and go that route. So I’m looking for relatively easy things I can do at home without buying a huge weight set to preserve muscle while continuing to reduce unnecessary weight. Appreciate any suggestions.
