...on any meaningful level. But think back to the 1980s. People still threw garbage out their windows in the car. Dumped motor-oil down the drain, etc. All of those attitudes have changed. The environment is physically cleaner than it was 40 years ago. I mean, you personally, probably have made food decisions (subconsciously or not) that are better for your environment and ecology. We're not individually defeating big industry but small decisions matter at a more local level. They're not insignificant. My personal conclusion, honestly, is that there is nothing that I can personally do that is going to move the needle on the environment when there are massive corporations that will continue to pollute. It's that that I no longer care about the environment, I very much still do, it's just that I've given up hope that there's anything that can be done that is going to make a meaningful difference, and relieving myself of that burden helps me sleep a little better at night.
