and other Early action schools . But went 0/8 of regular decision schools so was brutal last few days .
But he has his heart set on UT Austin Mech E . Loves the school and were it not for me insisting he waits for all the results he would have committed long ago.
I was very disappointed with the UIUC waitlist at Grainger Eng but I am coming to terms with the fact that my kiddo loves UT way more than UIUC. Hook'em I guess :-) Given that for UT Austin the Mech E admit rate was 7%-8% (according to the admitted students event) , he did good.
