Only once had an issue transferring with phones next to each other (done this ~a dozen times) and it was because we forgot to shut off Find MY (or something like that) with the old phone. No issues after completing that step.

On hour 4 of trying to get my old iPhone to copy over to my new 17 pro.
This is the worst, non-working experience I’ve had in some time. When did Apple become such a piece of shit? If I wanted horrible software experience I would have bought an Android. At least I’d have the better tech.
