depends on how highly ranked he ends up
if he's a 5* or whatever its unlikely he would transfer here even if he never plays at UM. if he plays and is kind of OK to bad, i still think unlikely as a 5*. somebody will talk themselves into paying him a multi million dollar deal if he ends up very highly ranked.  Previous Message Previous Message opportunity cost is high on these FR QBs. pay Lopati $2mm a year, red shirts one year, sits the bench another, then txfers. the program got virtually nothing from that but spent $4mm. waste of time and resources for Illinois to chase this type of QB prospect after he blew up and became a national recruit.
