Lives to other people. My experience is they try to have very curated aesthetics.

And I shouldn’t be so hard on them as it isn’t limited to this generation, but social media has really made it about 10x worse.

I’ve had to throw two themed baby showers for nieces where they wanted to rent out space, cater food, photo areas, have social media hashtags, etc. not to be the old lady shaking her fist at these kids but I was happy to have a baby shower at my sister in laws house with some cake and balloons. The theme was “we’re having a baby”.
