For $2M and early retirement, I think it's doable. Especially if you can still be in contact with each other (albeit not physically or even visually).
TWO MILLION DOLLARS AND EARLY RETIREMENT!! I could endure an awful lot for an incentive that would allow us to spend ever MORE time travelling together when it was over.
