Crime in black neighborhoods. Decaying city public school systems. Etc. just want to cover my bases before people come staggering in with half baked replies about how blue cities in blue states are actually well governed for the working and middle classes

Which is one reason why Georgia got purple. Housing costs trumps all. Cultural/family reasons to a lesser degree.

Reversing VRA stuff isn’t going to move the needle against this trend. Blue cities in blue states might want to try growing their economies via lowering housing costs. Good luck with that.
