Situation:

My step son didn’t eat much for breakfast….half a bowl of cereal, no milk.

We went out to lunch, raising cane, he had 1.5 chx strips. Some fries and half his lemonade. I asked him to finish his chx (0.5) and he refused. I said no more food until dinner, then. He still refused.

We’re at the pool and he wants to go to the snack bar where he’d only get junk food. I refused to spend money on junk food that can ruin his dinner and pay money additionally when we bought lunch and he didn’t finish it.

If he had finished his lunch (just two of the three chx strips), I would be happy to get him something additional from the snack bar.
