The only city notable city on Sherman's March that received a reprieve. To try to control them, they even sequestered Union troops in some of the graveyards, including Colonial Park, where you can still see the disfigured and broken gravestones to this day. So Savannah is actually one of the few vestiges of the actual "Old South" that still exists.

Meanwhile Union troops were especially brutal and destructive in Charleston as it's where the war was started in the bombing of Ft Sumter. For the most part, the city to be totally rebuilt. So if by "Old South" you mean Reconstruction....that's what you are getting.
