My youtube "podcasts" that I follow are either music gear reviews or fishing...for the most part...
...would those fit into the category of a podcast? Same hosts...they're talking at a camera. The episodes usually have one or two cohesive topics... But without the video, they'd be completely worthless to "listen" to.  Previous Message
There are a lot of YT videos that could be audio-only, but 90% of those are video versions of podcasts where one or two hosts just recite a report they wrote. Maybe there's a picture edited in once in a while, but for the most part they just "pivoted to video" because the algorithm told them to, and it was relatively inexpensive to do.
The better YT creators make use of the video portion of the presentation.
