Our kids start next week. The district my wife was in the previous 4 years were back last week Weds.

They do a modified balanced calendar. So they start in late July, but take 2 weeks off between quarters. So a 2 week fall break, Christmas Break, and then 2 week spring break. And they're (usually) out by Memorial Day.
