Dude messages me from...checks notes...Pennsylvania. "Hey, I've been looking for one of these for a long time (it was vintage adjacent). It's gonna cost me a ton to ship it...would you take the price minus shipping?"

Seller says they have a Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L II new in a slightly damaged box and they're selling it for $500.

Can meet up this afternoon at a Walgreens parking lot in Aurora.

The ad only has pics of the box, and the seller says it's because the box is sealed.

I asked if I can open it to test it, and they reiterated that the box is sealed and I should let them know if I'm not ok with that because they have other interested buyers lined up.

Rate the likelihood of scam.
