I think it's unrealistic and dishonest for a candidate to say we're not going to do them at all. I remember Gretchen Whitmer got caught on a live mic saying that people vote against them locally but they just end up building them anyway. I credit Shapiro because he seems to be trying to come to some reasonable solutions.

necessity but I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to live near one. Josh Shapiro unveiled some new restrictions recently that seem pretty good, but just being anti-DC 100% isn't realistic.

I just think you have to be smart about how you talk about them. The Wisconsin gov. race in particular seems like it might go off the rails on this.
