Met my parents out there for their 37th visit (per my Mom). Drove them around for 3+ days so Dad didn't have to pilot their small RV. (He's good to drive out there and back but prefers not to have to deal with the narrow roads and parking.)
Not exactly the ideal way I'd like to visit as they can't hike much (though we did some short trails) and instead spent a lot of time seeing things from the car. But it was great to see them in their favorite place and also give me an excuse to get out there again.
Also, did see one of the coolest things I ever had out there...After leaving my folks and running a bit behind on my drive to Bozeman for a flight, I came across this huge traffic jam. I'm thinking bear, so I stop and follow the crowd. No, a wolf trying to pull an elk carcass out of the river.

For a couple hours each morning and things warmed up pretty quickly.
How was Yellowstone? It’s not really on my list as of right now. I think our next trip will be Acadia or Big Bend. Then we want to do the Grand Canyon rim to rim at some point, as well as Glacier and one of the Alaska parks.
