Mostly in the spring (2021, 2023, & 2026) or fall (2024 & 2025), but once in August (2021).

Try to visit mid-week vs weekends. Also, timed entry has done wonders to curb overcrowding. And yes, certain trails will seem like Disney World, but we've also found several 4+ miles hikes where I could count the other people we passed on one hand.

Crowds kinda took a little away from my enjoyment of Zion. And we were there midweek in late Oct 2021.

That’s all to say that I’d love to find the parks that aren’t quite as popular. North Cascades was amazing.
