Anyone have pet insurance and have a carrier they like?

Let's just say we got two new young cats today, and are looking for quotes. In my lawtalking/insurance life I have worked with TruPanion, Lemonade and Healthy Paws, but am looking for any personal experience.

I'd probably be looking for a basic $10K annual limit, $250 annual deductible, 80-90% coverage after that policy for $20-40 a month.

I would post pictures but they are currently decompressing under a bed.

But a $4,000 emergency bill the first night we had our dog immediately had us signing up for it the next day.

I don't think we'd even be able to get it now that he's older if we weren't already on a plan since "your pet has a pre-existing condition" is a statement that exists.

This feels like a great opportunity to skew my Google Ads algorithm.

That's where my rec for Spot came from, though they did say there wasn't a ton of difference.

I liked the coverage options and the app is super easy to use to submit claims, etc.

Most pet insurance is reimbursement only though...

So they only deal directly with the few that are direct pay.
