I took our annual golf outing to Chicagoland this year. You made course recommendations and we ended up playing ThunderHawk, Stonewall Orchard, and Shepherds Crook. We loved the variety and the course quality. We played the Ravines at Cog Hill today because the group hails from IL, MI and IN, and it was convenient for everyone to head home, and it was an easier course that was the only traditional parkland course on the roster. Group didn’t want to play Dubs as the fourth course.
Bills Pizza and Pub in Mundelein was 5 minutes from the hotel and a great spot for the group.
I appreciate you, Deucers! I have schweppervessence and wessonality.
The Ravines isn't exactly easy. It starts and ends easy, but 4-12 is a tough stretch!*

Very good point, had a few guys say it played a lot harder than its slope rating.
I thought it was fun layout with only a couple of boring holes.
#10 kicked my ass.
