Can possibly do outdoors (early September)
Can offer food or I can cater something
Need to serve alcohol or be allowed to have it there
Not sure on amount of people-20-50 probably
Not fancy and not too expensive

That said, on his birthday we knew he was still going to travelling home from vacation (and I ended up being too sick through the weekend to do anything anyway).

We'll see him in a week when he comes to visit and watch my daughter in a basketball tournament.
