Cancelled Sirius

my yearly subscription was $5.19. They wanted to increase it to $24.98 (including a US music royalty fee of $4.40). That's over a 450% increase.

The came down twice, $9.63 and $8.57, but no lower. I just outright canceled. No way I'm staying on a monthly subscription that high when I've got unlimited data on my phone and apple play in the car.

Reminiscing about Brian Wilson. That was exceptional radio and worth $10/month alone or whatever the negotiated price is these days.

My first XM sub was November 2022 and while the service isn't as good as it was then (more live DJs, better sound quality, deeper playlists etc.) it's still great for both talk, sports and music.

You used to be able to listen to multiple online streams with a lifetime sub but that loophole usually doesn't work anymore.

I have 2 lifetime subs (one legacy XM and one legacy Sirius) and they each get one login so I can listen to two online accounts on different devices at the same time.

I paid $399 or one and $499 for the other. Plus, I received about $600 for each sub as a result of a class action payout in California. So basically lifetime for free.
