It's not for me (I think) but people just figure they're going to stay inside for 4-5 months. Very similar to winters in the North.

100 here in June is nothing. It's dry and barely feels hot. A breeze cools the temp by 20 degrees if you're in the shade. 100 in Illinois is suicidal and inescapable.

Now, 116 is hot no matter what, and July & August bring humidity... that's a different story.

Was in Hawaii last week so I got to avoid all of that.

Apparently the sun and heat caused my robot mower to lose its bearings
