I am sure hand grinding beans then French pressing coffee using artisanal spring water heated to 193 degrees exactly tastes better than my Mr. Coffee drip brew. But I am much more interested in getting out the door to work in the morning as quickly and easily as possible, rather than spending 15 minutes to make a really great cup of coffee.

where the previous alternative of unwrapping a pre packed filter and dropping it into the pot could not have been easier or simpler

The espresso is decent. Not great but fine for the convenience and ease.
