Travelers/Cruise with small kids

Going to Alaska with my 4 and 7 year olds. I’ve never traveled with them without renting a car. Do I need to bring car seat/booster seat for the travel to the hotel in the taxi/uber and for our cruise excursions? I didn’t really think about this until today and we are leaving next week.

Thank you all! Any other cruising with kids tips? I’ve never been on a cruise before.

You’re gonna want to stick to a bedtime routine. This will be difficult since it’s only dark for 5-6 hours this time of year.

especially for all the random shit my wife had.

Extension cords and non-surge protector outlets are also quite helpful for making sure you have enough outlets to plug in everything, especially at night.

The kids clubs are great (at least on Princess and Celebrity)!*

They segregate activities and groupings by age so it'll be age appropriate.

When mini was 4 in Alaska it was a lot of coloring/drawing wildlife, learning about animals, etc. When he was 8 in the Caribbean, I'm pretty sure it was sports and video games.

Won't be an issue in Alaska. We had mini on an AK cruise at that age, no booster.

The rides between the Hotel and Cruise terminal in Seattle I guess could be an issue. But maybe you can request a booster in the Uber app?
