embarrassment, but this has already been debunked today. Local beat reporter Kelsey Conway reported that he’s just using the A&M facility to work out and not working out with the team.

Has this kid ever gotten into the kind of trouble that the Bengals want to protect against by adding the default provision?

If he's got a checkered past, I can at least see the logic, even if I don't agree with it. If he doesn't, and the CBS reporting is accurate, then this is just stupid.

At the end of the day, Mike Brown and his daughter (she might be worse and runs the team now) are cheap asses that will do whatever they can to claw a buck back. Hell, they made our projected starting safety this year take a pay cut.

As a result, they see an opportunity to put this language in. Language that some other NFL teams already have in their contracts with drafted players.

I want this dude in camp and playing, but I hate this ownership so much that I would really enjoy watching Stewart blow this thing up.

Also, I had no idea that John Breech (son of long time Bengals great kicker Jim Breech) was writing for CBS Sports now.
