I assume they had to pick players currently in the lineup? But still why not Witt? Or Buxton?*

Guessing not a lot of volunteers for it. Most of the guys that played early left.

Need psychos like Rooker, Alonso, and Schwarber to volunteer

Although Witt said he wasn’t asked and wanted too. Maybe teams got involved*

there had to be someone else besides the least known position player on their whole roster who only has 11 HR’s.
