my first exposure to the ocean was the Pacific coast. After that, the Atlantic. Both are wonderful in their own way.

But when I first visited the Gulf, specifically up and down 30-A, it ruined so many beaches for me. Now, I’m to the point where when we’re planning a trip to coastal beach or island, my first question is, “how white is the sand?”

“Not white? Let’s look elsewhere”

The sand here in OCMD is beige but oh so soft and clean

They drag up and down the entire 9mi stretch every night. Been doing that for 40+ years
