I loved the story when I originally read it and still do. I just saw an advertisement on FB for the movie coming out this September. I don’t know how well it’s gonna translate to the big screen.

I’ll see it nonetheless and hope that it translates.

Not sure I'll want to watch it, the story is pretty brutal.

The trailer looks like it's pretty faithful to the book

The trailer for The Running Man looks entertaining, too (and much closer to the book than the 1980s one).

That leaves Rage, which would definitely never be made into a movie, and Roadwork, which probably would never be made into a movie, from The Bachman Books.

Agreed, Rage will never be made and Roadwork isn’t good enough to make.

I think Thinner was made into a movie and he had two other books, The Regulators and Blaze….
