Buddy hosted a private event there and they said they weren’t welcome back because they were drinking too much and not playing by the rules.

You are correct that drinking is a big part of curling, but they take safety pretty seriously at these group events, and I strongly suspect that your friends were being unruly and thus deemed to be unsafe.

I think I recall them saying that rather than switching off stones, they were just having 1 group throw all stones and then another group throw all stones.

Doesn’t seem like a safety issue to me unless I’m missing something.

Personal cigar bar and it was awful. MrsHarb wouldn’t come out to it with me at the time.

Since the no smoking vote, there has been a huge increase in membership and visits. It’s great.

And you can even see eagles over the lake at times…
