...pay actors at lowest contract wage, but give them profit sharing. You get high-quality actors, giving their absolute best, on the cheap. You can also create really compelling stories with creative directors that don't need big budget sets or effects since most modern horror films are psychological. All of this makes for a less costly movie than a blockbuster with actors/directors/producers being more comfortable with taking creative risks.

My one criticism is that the siege of the barn could have been played out a bit longer. I wouldn't want to cut anything from the 1st half though. Just having a few more scenes with the survivors fending of the vampires, and the tension rising.

It was pretty good... felt like a different angle on From Dusk Till Dawn to me...

I love when she lets her naturally curly texture out to play, simultaneously showing off her gorgeous blonde hair color in the process. A deep side part adds an asymmetrical flare to the style, creating a sort of faux side bang that perfectly frames her face.
