Ripping packs was fun at first when I was reacclimating myself with the hobby but I quickly realized I'd rather just directly buy the cards that I want. Flipping through the bins and coming across something cool to add to my collection is close enough to the thrill of the box chase and doesn't require the gamble/storage/disposal.

I didn't really think I was buying much, but then I did an audit and found it was in the high three figures, which was enough to scare me.

nothing that made me concerned over how much I'd spent

I've never bought any physical blind boxes
