1 douchebag manager of 1 out of hundreds of Meijer stores does a douchebag manager thing and the way people react to this is now is to try to build up a boycott of the entire corporation. Versus the reaction just being “wow this guy is an asshole.”

When something is happening, young people like to say it’s “lit.”

From my understanding, Meijer's reaction to the actions of said douchebag manager...

...in terms of backing him in his actions are what the problem is, and to some are just another example of how multi-billion dollar companies treat their workforce as a freeloading inconvenience.

That said I've seen multiple versions of this story, including that the manager was removed last year and the kid was reinstated so *shrug*
