We cancelled for the summer to save money. So should I just sign back up or something else?

We are not big TV watchers, mind you.

I pretty much only use television to watch live sports and to record and watch games later. So I definitely need that.

The wife wants things like HGTV, TLC, etc to watch some reality shows and true crime.

That's about it.

Anyone know a way to do a longer free trial of YTTV? Looks like only offering 5 days.

Which is weird because I’ve seen it at 7 and 10 as well. Seems odd to jockey around with your free trial days as much as they do.

they can create a separate profile for you that, I think, wouldn't require them to give you their full login details. From what I've read you'll be able to use it outside of the "home location" for a couple months before they require you to login in with the device back at "home"

Sling Tv is like $75 for package that has ESPN, BTN, RedZone. Which is maybe $10 cheaper then YTTV

because there was a brief period where Marquee was available on Hulu and not anywhere else. Now it's not available on either, but we've grown accustomed to Hulu so it's here to stay.

has more channels that I'd be interested in watching than the xfinity package I dropped. and it gives you the multi-view option for sports. I'm still waiting on the supposed interface update that is supposed to give you the option to select which games you want to watch on multi view (among other updates/changes) so once that shows up it'll be great.
