Incidentally, this is my path at the moment walking to get lunch image sharing I'm sure if someone commutes on foot by necessity every day they tire of hopping on/off the road or following a sidewalk to a dead end. House I used to live at had a lot of wheelchair traffic, almost exclusively on the road so as to not get stranded. Most of the bus stops at my new place meanwhile unload into the grass. Still foolish to not walk on the sidewalk when available but I can understand an "eff it" mentality.

people walking dogs, i sort of get. They'd rather have their dogs pee on the parkway than someone's lawn. But normal people walking in the street, sometimes side-by-side, is kind of annoying. Asphalt roads are smoother and more forgiving for running than concrete sidewalks. I will get off the road if I see two cars will cross near me. Previous Message I don't get it.
