Used to HATE kimchi. My brother, who served in Korea, loved it so much he used to make it at home.

I kid you not, soon after he died a couple years ago, I started getting a taste for it....now i just freakin' love it. Pretty much have it in the fridge at all times.

Just made some kimchi fried rice for lunch and it fuckin' slapped....

Turns out all I'd ever had to that point was shite farm raised salmon that was far too overcooked, or canned like tuna.

Now I can't get enough, but it definitely has to be wild caught.

I eat a lot of things with tomatoes in them, but anything with raw tomatoes is just a non starter for me.

It kind of has a spicy mac and cheese taste. The egg is optional but it does make it better.

Horrible stench and horrible taste.

Actually it's a tree-way tie with eggplant (terrible texture
& taste) and lima beans (pasty, awful taste).

One exception is somehow beating/cooking/spicing all the evil out of eggplant to make baba ganoush.
As to the original question: salmon. Couldn't stand it growing up but somewhere in young adulthood I began to love it.

I vote eggplant, though I guess technically its a fruit. That stuff is gross*

There are too many better things you can do with ground beef. The only ground beef based dish worse than meatloaf is sloppy joes (though to be fair, sloppy joes are terrible, whereas meatloaf is just meh).
