Just tell me how much the activity or sport or band or whatever costs, and I’ll pay it. Every school year is a ridiculous circle of everyone’s kid selling the same crap to each other’s parents. Just make every activity cost what it costs, let us all pay for what we do, and be done. The Scout popcorn is in a class by itself. It’s outrageous. My nephews did scouts. I think we just sent their troop a straight cash donation. The value for the popcorn is so minimal compared to the price, and adding in the vendor skimming a bunch of the profits, it was better for both us and the troop.
