Parents of a friend of my daughter (4th grade). They’re American born and not super religious.

Is booze an appropriate gift or would I be making an asshole of myself? Google is giving me mixed results.

One of the things I have noticed is that Indians got really weird with alcohol and religious ceremonies. Of course, if it’s just a party, maybe it’s not a big deal.
